YASKAWA J1000 Compact Simple Inverter Features
Full-featured, with ease of operation and machine protection as fundamentals
Compact design
One inverter adopts dual load rating specifications allowing selection of light load (ND) rating and heavy load (HD) rating. Parameters can be easily set according to the customer's machine type. If ND rating is selected, it can be applied to a motor one size larger in capacity. It is small in size and can be installed side by side, reducing control panel volume.
Simple operation
In parameter setting mode, the basic parameters required for inverter operation can be easily set. Convenience of "just wire and use." A verification function (comparison function) that allows easy confirmation of parameters that have been changed from factory settings.
Environmentally friendly
Standard products comply with the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive.
Adopts Swing PWM method that suppresses electromagnetic noise, solving the problem of harsh noise.
Noise comparison between conventional method and Swing PWM method
Supports stable operation
Easy starting even under heavy load
During full-range, fully automatic torque boost operation, high torque is generated during both acceleration/deceleration and constant speed, and the machine starts smoothly.
Achieves 100% torque at low speed 1.5 Hz, 150% torque at 3 Hz (HD rating).
Complete braking functions
Thanks to the over-excitation braking function, emergency braking is possible even without a braking resistor. Furthermore, all models have a built-in braking transistor, and simply adding a braking resistor provides a large braking force.
Deceleration time range of over-excitation braking function
Comprehensive protection functions
Standard built-in inrush current suppression circuit prevents inverter failure even if the power supply is unstable.
Functions for easy commissioning and maintenance
Easy maintenance
Can monitor and check maintenance time for capacitors, cooling fans, inrush prevention relays, and IGBTs. The detachable cooling fan is mounted on the top of the inverter, allowing easy replacement without removing main circuit wiring.
Suppresses power supply harmonics
Can connect AC reactor (optional) and DC reactor (optional).
Safe stop during power failure
Equipped with KEB (Kinetic Energy Back-up) function that prevents the motor from free-running during a power failure and enables quick and safe deceleration stop.
Convenient optional accessories
Frequency setting potentiometer (optional)
A frequency setting potentiometer can be installed. The operating frequency can be adjusted not only via parameters but also with a potentiometer, simplifying on-site adjustment work.
LED operator*1 (optional)
If the LED operator is used, operation is possible within 3 m of the inverter.
If installed on the control panel door, the inverter inside the panel can be operated and monitored without opening the door.
DriveWizard Plus*2
If the inverter engineering tool DriveWizard Plus is used, inverter commissioning and maintenance work can be made even easier using a computer. It facilitates parameter management and also includes pattern operation, oscilloscope functions, etc.
Can be used for RS-422/485 communication (optional)
Compatible with MEMOBUS/Modbus protocol.
Can be used by using an interface unit (optional).
Complies with international standards
Compatible with MEMOBUS/Modbus protocol.
Complies with CE, UL, cUL, and other international standards, can be used with confidence worldwide.
