An explosion-proof motor is a motor that needs to be used in special occasions. It is used in some places with complex working environments or high explosion risks, such as chemical, petroleum, metallurgy and other industries. Due to its special working environment, the operating performance requirements of explosion-proof motors are higher, and more precise speed control and operating status monitoring are required. The installation of an encoder is a solution to meet these needs, which can improve the accuracy and stability of the motor.
Model selection: Before installing the encoder, you need to select the encoder based on the motor model, specifications, load, and usage occasions, and select the encoder model that matches the motor. Explosion-proof motors need to select explosion-proof encoders, and the encoder needs to have a CCC explosion-proof certificate.
Installation location: Install the encoder at the output end of the motor, so that the output status of the motor can be more accurately controlled and monitored, and the stability and safety of the motor can be improved.
Installation steps:
Remove the motor end cover and clean the bearing seat and bearing grease.
Measure the encoder onto the motor bearing cover.
Install the clips and clips.
Perform wiring work according to the encoder's instruction manual.
Test: After completing the installation of the encoder, you need to test the motor and observe the running status of the motor and the output of the encoder to ensure that the encoder is installed correctly and can operate normally.
