Description of the ZM design

The Miba type ZM horizontal bearing is designedaccording to DIN 31 694 norm specifications for a widerange of heavy duty applications (electrical machines.turbines and test rigs). The modular system applies tothe different types of bearings (pedestal, end flangeand center flange), i.e. it is always possible to combinedifferent modules of this system. Thus, assembly issimple and mistakes due to the positioning of screwsand pins are avoided during installation, commissioningand maintenance procedures.
